And one last share is a layout I created for my Skissedilla sketch layout for May. I really love the effect I got on the Imaginarium chipboard alphas and frame using some fabulous Lindy's stamp gang products.

A Steampunk Altered Frame and a Mixed Media Layout from Sarah

Hello Imaginarium Designs Fans! I have two projects to share with you today - an altered wooden frame and a Mixed Media Layout!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Steampunk Altered Frame
First up is an altered wooden frame using Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells collection, together with Imaginarium Designs Cogs (regular and tinies) and tiny Steampunk Clock. I purchased the wooden frame at a local craft store for $1 (what a deal) and was able to create something I love with it!
I did lots of fussy cutting of the Graphic 45 papers and layered the fussy-cut elements with the Imaginarium Designs Chipboard to embellish the frame. I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst mists to colour the chipboard elements; first, I used Red Hot Poker Orange, then I splattered the chipboards with Midnight Rendezvous Raven. I love the rusted look this gave all the chipboad elements - perfect for this Steampunk frame. Here are some close-ups:
Mixed Media Layout - Little Treasure
My second project is a mixed-media layout that was inspired by this tutorial by the wonderfully-talented Aida Domisiewicz. I find myself using more and more mixed media on my layouts - it is so much fun - and the Imaginarium Designs Chipboard are perfect for this type of crafting since they are such good quality and stand up so well to multiple medias! I have called this layout Little Treasure - and the title piece is one of the Imaginarium Designs new release chipboards.
For the chipboard elements for this layout, I have used the title, the Tulip Flourish and one corner of the Anna Frame. I coated the chipboard with a light coat of gesso and then let it take on the colour of the media added to the layout. The pink tones on the flourish/corner are from Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in Bodacious Blush and the darker grey on the title is from Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in Midnight Rendezvous. I also did some misting on the layout with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Mist in Wild Honeysuckle Coral. The splatters are Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Mist in Cheshire Cat Cherry and diluted Distress Ink (re-inker) in Black Soot. Once I finished the misting/painting with the colours, I dry brushed some gesso on top of the chipboards and lace to help them stand out. Here are some close-ups:
More Inspiration from Guest Designer Amy Prior
Hi everyone!
Amy Prior back again today to share another Scrapbooking layout featuring lots of yummy Imaginarium Designs Chipboard. I have started this layout off using a Canvas Corp 12x12 Burlap Page which I have added some Gesso stencilling and random scrapes on the edges.
I decided that I wanted to use the fabulous Imaginarium Designs S Swirl Corner pieces as some Chevron Arrows on this layout and don't they look fabulous and elegant?
The S Swirl Corner Chipboard pieces have had various shades of Blue & Brown Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow & Starburst Stain Sprays literally splattered randomly over them and dried.
I have then added some Old Silver Inka Gold rubbed randomly over the corner pieces so you can still see the colours slightly coming through.
I have then decorated the Imaginarium Designs Anna Frame. I have dabbed lots of Gold Shimmerz Texture Paste over the top of the frame using my finger and then dried it off completely with my heat tool.
When the Shimmerz Texture Paste was dry, I have sprayed some Chocolate Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Stain Spray over the top and let it pool into the texture a little before zapping again with my heat tool. Seriously who waits for things to dry naturally anyway? LOL
The final piece of fabulous Imaginarium Designs Chipboard on this layout is of course, the title. I just adore this new title from ID and it is so versatile! Precious Moments in time was decorated first with a layer of Dark Blue Tim Holtz Crackle Paint.
I have then sprayed some Dark Navy Blue Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays over the top of the title and dried that off with my heat gun. Crackle Paint is the one and only medium I use regularly that I wait to dry naturally. Best thing is in the Aussie heat lately, that thin layers of crackle paint dry super fast yay!
Finally I have added some Cobalt Blue Inka Gold to the title and then finished it off with some random sprinklings of Embossing Powder. For the fun textured effect, I have used both regular embossing powder mixed with some Gold UTEE. I just love having fun layering lots of media onto chipboard and Imaginarium Designs has the most amazing intricate designs I had so much fun creating this layout.
Love This- Mixed Media Page
Hi There!
  Shell carman with you today.
I can't believe it is March already! Seriously the year is flying by so fast. Sadly in Australia we officially say goodbye to Summer today. So now it's time to scrap all my beach photos from the Summer holidays!
To colour the title & the banner I first inked with Prima Chalk Fluid in Pastel Green then dabbed some Teal Damask over the top. I used my finger to roughly apply some mod podge then sprinkled some Lindys Stamp Gang Embossing Powder in Desert Moon Turquoise & set it with a heat gun. Love the gorgeous shiny metallic colour of this!
The arrow was painted with Shimmerz Texturez in Sandy Stone
The stars were inked with Versa Color Ink in Silver. I applied a heavy coat of Ranger Distress Crackle Paint in rock candy over the top then dabbed some Shimmerz Texturez in Tidy Widy once the crackle paint set.
