Tomoko ... a fond farewell

We are sad to see Tomoko moving on from our Design Team.

We just adore her beautiful work - so detailed, so passionate and just simply beautiful.

Tomoko has created the most stunning projects with our chipboard and I am blown away every time I get something new in my inbox! :)

Tutorial by Tomoko ...

 Tomoko has done a fabulous tutorial on how she gets that fabulous finish on her chipboard!

Paint the butterfly with white acrylic paint.
 

Paint the inside part with Shimmerz paint.(I used 2 colors for this to make some gradation.)

After the butterfly dries, apply some glitter over it. (I used some glitter paint from Turner Acrylic
 
Gouahe Lame' Clear Opac. But maybe we only have these in Japan. But, any glitter is okay. I prefer Modge Podge glitter if you have them:) )

After drying, I applied some distress ink for the center part of the butterfly using Prima mask. 

Use a black pen to write the patterns of the masked part.

Apply glossy accents in the center part and some rhinestones for accent.

Good Morning

Well I am back from our trip to Thailand and back into work and scrapping again - relaxed and tanned and full of motivation!

Thanks so very much to the amazing Sam for keeping the blog up to date while I was relaxing at the pool bar! :)

OK ... now onto some creative goodness by Tomoko.

"Hi everyone! I am so excited to show you my new mini book made for my sister's birthday!

I used the new Sweet Tooth line from Bo Bunny for this book. You can see that I added ID's chipboards on the cover for accents!

What I did to detail the chipboards is I applied some acrylic paint to the chipboards. After drying I applied Stickles Rock candy to give it a sparkle look:) I just love sparkles!!"
