Something Different with Tracey Fowler

Hi Everyone,

I decided this month that I really wanted to try something that I haven't played with this much. Water Colours and my new favourite Distress Ink oxides and of coarse finish my project off with Imaginarium Chipboard.

As you are all aware from my previous posts, I am really out of my comfort zone when doing journal pages. They really intrigue me on how layers of dimension can be created without the bulk of heavy embellishments. This month I have created 2 journal pages, they aren't perfect, fabulous or the best you will have seen, but I certainly enjoyed experimenting and adding
Imaginarium Chipboard to them.

"Create Art"

I created the background using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxides - these are so much fun to play with!
I then rubbed Creative Expressions Gilding Wax over my Imaginarium Chipboard to just give a hint of colour and shine.  I love the effect of the Gilding Wax as it just gave a real subtle colour and shine to the chipboard.

My second journal page, I have used the same Tim Holtz Distress Oxides, but have a more vintage feel. I will admit I couldn't help but put a flower on my page!

"Dream Big"

For this page I added some texture paste along and a stencil pattern to add some more dimension. For the Imaginarium Chipboard I used embossing powder and also painted one piece with distress white paint.
I have used vintage white embossing powder and a plain white embossing powder for the chipboard.

I love this Chipboard Vine, I have painted it using a white distress paint.

My last project I have to share with you today is a card that I have made, by heat embossing the stamp and using watercolour pencils to colour. I have heat embossed the Chipboard word using a black embossing powder.

Imaginarium Chipboard that I have used for the above projects are shown below.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at what we have been creating!
