Two lay-outs by Romy

Hi! Happy Tuesday!
It's Romy here and today's it's my turn to show you two of my latest Imaginarium Design creations. I made two lay-outs for today's post: a romantic and feminine lay-out and a more masculine one.

Let's start with my feminine lay-out. I used lots pink elements and whimsical touches on this one and of course Imaginarium Design's chippies made a perfect finishing touch.

These are the gorgeous chipboard pieces that I used on my lay-out. To frame my photo I used a large oval frame and a clock frame. I cut out the inner part of the clock to turn it into a frame. Both chipboard pieces were covered with pink embossing powder to give them a soft look.

Clock Face (3 inch)

I also used two tiny oval frames on the left and right side of the doily. I think these tiny frames are always a cute finishing touch on your lay-out when you feel like something's missing.

I also based a lay-out upon this gorgeous page draft:

I turned it into a masculine lay-out with dark colours and some awesome chipboard pieces:

I used the three pretty banners below my photo. I layered the scallop border upon another border and decorated it with liquid pearls to make it stand out more.

I also used these beautiful corners as details in the corners on my lay-out.

Swirl Corners

In the right lower corner of my lay-out I used the beautiful "Memories Last Forever" title. Just like the banners and corners I gave it a vintage look with distress embossing powder.

I used some of the awesome chevrons on a few random places on my lay-out as a finishing touch.

Sarah Shares Two Layouts

Snapshots
This layout was created with the Prima Stationer's Desk collection, along with some Prima flowers and metal embellishments and some Art Anthology dimensional paint. The fun photos of my son are from May the Fourth - hence the Star Wars shirt in the photos. . . May the Fourth be with you.....
I used one of the Imaginarium Designs Snapshots Frames, which I painted with Art Anthology Gold Sorbet dimensional gel paint. This is the same paint I used for the ruler masking on the layout - I just love the metallic glittery finish. Here are some close-ups!

You
Imaginarium Designs teamed up with Page Drafts as a sponsor for the One of a Kind Challenge for the month of May and, as an Imaginarium Designs DT member, I got to play along with the challenge reveal. Here is my layout for the challenge and the sketch that inspired it!

I've used a combination of Kaisercraft Basecoat and Art of Life papers, as well as some Timeless Tags Collectables on the layout, along with some crumpled sewing pattern paper for texture/dimension. The Imaginarium Designs chipboard pieces were first painted with white (banner/butterflies) or black (Title) gesso and then I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Moonshadow Mists in Bucket o' Blood Red and Buccaneer Bay Blue to mist/splatter them. I have also used white gesso and the mists on the background, with additional splatters of the white/black gesso. I finished the layout by adding some white thread and some flowers/wood elements from my stash. Here are some close-ups!

Leonie's May Pages and a Process Video

Leonie here today.
Hello and welcome to my May page share at Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.

This first page I did for the Page Drafts 'One of A Kind' challenge that
Imaginarium Designs are sponsoring this month.
You can see all the sketches in this challenge over on the Page Drafts blog  HERE

'The Girls'

'The Girls'- such a great title piece!!
It suited these fun Photo Booth pictures that I wanted to scrap.

I've made a video showing how I went about creating this page.
I hope you like it.

Well if you made it to the end of the video I have one other
page to share with you today.

'Boy On A Mission'

I used lots of bright colours and shapes on the background so when it came to
my Chipboard I felt I needed to keep it neutral otherwise they
 would disappear amongst that background.
I chose grey/silver tones and painted all the chipboard with Gesso first and then sprayed them
with silver Heidi Swapp spray.

Because I'd primed them first with the Gesso the silver spray didn't soak straight into the chipboard
but sat on the surface.
As I dried it with a heat gun it created some cool patterned effects on the chipboard.

I wrapped some white cotton thread around the arrows just for some texture and added interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Imaginarium blog, I hope we've left you with some inspiration
on getting creative with chipboard.
