Leonie here today.
Hello and welcome to my May page share at Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.
This first page I did for the Page Drafts 'One of A Kind' challenge that
Imaginarium Designs are sponsoring this month.
You can see all the sketches in this challenge over on the Page Drafts blog HERE
'The Girls'
'The Girls'- such a great title piece!!
It suited these fun Photo Booth pictures that I wanted to scrap.
I've made a video showing how I went about creating this page.
I hope you like it.
Well if you made it to the end of the video I have one other
page to share with you today.

'Boy On A Mission'
I used lots of bright colours and shapes on the background so when it came to
my Chipboard I felt I needed to keep it neutral otherwise they
would disappear amongst that background.
I chose grey/silver tones and painted all the chipboard with Gesso first and then sprayed them
with silver Heidi Swapp spray.
Because I'd primed them first with the Gesso the silver spray didn't soak straight into the chipboard
but sat on the surface.
As I dried it with a heat gun it created some cool patterned effects on the chipboard.
I wrapped some white cotton thread around the arrows just for some texture and added interest.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Imaginarium blog, I hope we've left you with some inspiration
on getting creative with chipboard.

Absolutely fabulous video, thanks Leonie, I wish I could use both hands as well as you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra. :) being a little ambidextrous helps when you're trying to hold a paint brush and a heat gun. ;)
DeleteBeautiful pages, love how you did the pop's of bright colors too. ~Diane
