You Make Me Smile

Hi Imaginarium Designs Friends!

Amanda here, and I can't believe that half the year is almost passed?!! Crazy how quick the time flies when you're having fun!
It's officially Winter here in Australia, and despite the cold, wet & dark days, I am feeling the sunshine in my first layout today. Here it is....

"You Make Me Smile"

Isn't she gorgeous?!! Growing up far too quickly! Such pretty girl deserves a pretty page...
I've combined Pink Paislee's Fancy Free collection, & Studio Fourteen40's flair with our favourite chipboard to create this stunning layout. I love the warmth that the yellow painterly background creates. As the yellow is such an enormous POP of colour, I've treated all chipboard to a white finish to maintain a lil delicacy and femininity to the page.
Let's take a closer look.....

To get such a solid white finish, I gave the chipboard 3 coats of Versa Ink in White.
How amazing is that title?!

No surprise when I tell you that this NEW release chippie title is from our very talented Natalie May - SO cool!!!
You'll also spy that I've use a generous sprinkling of superfine Glitter Snow to the texture paste. This is so that the flat white matte finish on the chipboard is more striking. It becomes more visible...

Those gorgeous flourishes are also from our Designer collection too!

You can find them here:

My second layout that I am sharing with you today is all about my super cool boy,

"Never Grow UP"

I know, can he get any cuter?!!! Such an awesome lil guy that we totally adore!
I've used another fabulous NEW release chippie title, Never Grow UP. This new title is perfect for scrapbooking those beautiful little people in your lives.
As my page is all about my awesome boy, I've used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Made of Awesome collection. That sunburst pattern paper is partnered with our Arrows -  to really draw your eye into my special photograph.
Let's take a closer look at those stunning chippies....

How cool is that title?!! Iv'e used black and gold inks to make it pop, and stapled it in place to add to the fun feel.  Also the silver staples and sequins help to balance all that gold too....

Aren't the arrows just awesome?! I coated mine in coloured inks (red, yellow, green & blue) & then I gave them a semi coat in gold ink ensuring some of the colour was still visible. Very cool!
Here's a couple closer views...

The gold is just a tad too brassy, so it partners perfectly with that cute camera charm too!
Love how everything works so well together!

Amazing boy indeed!

Two shadow boxes and a lay out

Hello to all creative people! Tatiana here today with some projects with Imaginarium designs chipboard.
Today I would like to show you two shadow boxes and a layout with chipboards from new release.
This construction is good to make different composition.

The big one tray is for my oldest son and from now a brother. The chipboards painted with blue acrylic paint and treated with lemon chalk inks.
I like making lays with different chipboards, this gives an expensive view to the project.
Love this effect, so unusual!

And a small one tray is for my newborn baby girl and a sister. Here all chipboards covered with peach acrylic paint and treated with lemon chalk inks.
I love these phrases about sister and brother!
The fabulous frame from new release.

And the last one photo.

The second project is about my baby girl.
Here I used frame from new release.
It is covered with pink acrylic paint and treated with mint chalk inks and patina.
Words from new release with new fonts.

Here what I used in this projects.

And an absolutely amazing frames and new words with new fonts from new release. Coming soon!
Thank you for stopping by!

A New Month & New Chipboard Too!

Hi my chippie lovelies!
Welcome to a new month of super creations from our talented Design Team!

Amanda here, and today I am starting September off with some super fun & playful layouts!
You'll spy lots of the new chipboard available & hopefully I'll inspire you to get creating ;)

First up, a seriously cool Dad and Son page......

"Special For Today"

I know, how divine is that pic?!!
Mr A for Awesome and his Dad down at the beach and just hanging out! Love it!
And what a fabulous boy page!
Natalie's new pie chart chippies are soooo awesome!
(& they partner perfectly with that Cut Shoppe X File digital file)
A great embellie for masculine pages!
I have inked mine in Black and Island Kaisercraft Ink Pads.
Tip: Kaisercraft inks are great for chipboard as they're super juicy and bursting with colour!
Let's take a closer look.....

You'll also see some of my old favourite chippies here too....
Steampunk clock & cogs;
Both of which I have sprayed with an iridescent peach misting spray.
This has an almost rusty, metallic look to it - perfect for partnering with some precious metals!
A super cool, masculine layout - find the chippies here...

Next up, a really pretty girly page....

"Your Time To Shine"

Isn't this pretty?!!
Those papers and ephemera are from the all new Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection: Life Is Beautiful, but it's that awesome title that I'm crushing on....
Evidence that our chippie titles are truly perfect for all our layout lovelies!!!
Apart from that fabulous new title, "Your Time To Shine", this page also contains Natalie's new mini hand drawn hearts, & the left overs from an old corner flourish.
Left overs?? Well, hardly - just take a peak at how cute it looks?

All my chippies on this page have been painted in acrylics,
& then coated in glossy accents for a super glossy finish.
The glossy touches really tie in with the enamel dots too!
Here's another look at that awesome title....

So very special indeed!

Find these chipboards here...

And my final page that I am sharing today is,

"SO wonderful"

Another one of those awesome moments!
Such a beautiful photograph!
And a really super cute page featuring the new Crate Paper Inc's WONDER collection.
I am huge fan of playful papers and designs, and this is just darling for children's albums!
But again, the show stopper is that incredibly intricate chipboard!
That new frame is just heavenly!
I've coated it, the James Corner and the word 'wonderful' in Bo Bunny's Gold Glitter Paste for extra added WOW factor!
I think the results speak for themselves - but take a closer look.....

Oh, and more of Natalie's Hand Drawn Hearts too!
(These are my go to embellishment at the moment - a new favourite!)
Very cool! Happy fun pages that make my albums sing!
Find these chippies here....

And there you have it folks!
A new month, new chippies and hopefully some inspiring new ideas to get your creativity sparking!

Thanks for visiting,

My Favourite Things by Leonie Neal-Dawson

Hello, it's Leonie here today with two pages and a Tag to share with you.

For this first page I used the title piece 'A Few Of My Favourite Things' and a photo of homebaked goods using lemons.  Lemon Butter, Lemon Slice and Lemon Tart! Yummy!!

I cut the oval frame below in half and used it to create two clusters on either side of my page.

The leafy design below is part of our soon to be released range so keep your eye out for it.

My Second page today is using a couple of our script words.  I love how mixing these
words can create a simple yet effective title for a page.  I've also added in a couple of
hearts.  All inked black for extra impact against the colourful background.

Last month we created lots of tags and cards to inspire here on the Imaginarium blog.
I really enjoyed making THESE couple
of tags so much that when the opportunity arose recently I created the tag below as a small thank you
for a scrappy friend.

That's it for me today,  happy creating!
Don't forget to leave a comment to be in the draw to win some
Imaginarium Designs goodness.

Cheers Leonie.
