Teal is March's Colour of the Month

 Hello Everyone.

It's week two of our second "Colour of the Month" Challenge.
Last week I shared some of our Design Team Members work using our Colour of the Month.
Today I am sharing another two of the design team's beautiful projects with you.

 First up is Solange.

Solange has done an off the page project for us this month and it is stunning. Teal is proving to be a popular colour with the design team ladies.  Solange's mask is just beautiful, who wouldn't like to wear this to a mask ball or party. It would also look lovely in a frame as a art piece.

Here is what Solange has to say about her stunning project.

I love this color, it's is one of my favors. I've made a mask and i've added a lot of laces and some chipboards, such as butterflies and flourishes. I've applied spays ink and a little of metallic paste to enhance the chipboards.
From Solange's description is sounds quite simple. But you can see from her photo's that there is much more involved.

Solange has used some of my favourite Imaginarium Designs chipboard on her mask and I love the way she has clustered everything together. I can only imagine just how stunning this mask is and how sparkling with all the beautiful glitter and sequins Solange has added.
Thank you Solange for sharing.

 Next up is Sandi.
Teal is also one of Sandi's favourite colours. This month Sandi has done a journaling page for us.

Sandi has incorporated many elements into her design. This can make for a busy and messy page, but Sandi has done such an amazing job keeping it all balanced - it looks wonderful. I love everything she as added to her page. There is a whimsical feel to it - so beautiful.
Well done Sandi.
Here is what Sandi has to say about her page.

The background to my journal page was created by gluing torn book pages into my journal and  rubbing teal, deep blue and white acrylic paint over the page with my fingers. To add more white I dipped string into white acrylic paint and placed it onto the page with a end hanging over edge, I then closed the book and pulled string out. The two flourishes were painted teal before cutting one in half. White paint was used with the new crosses stencil and a sponge to add crosses to the background, numbers were also added with black stamping of a numeral stamp set and chipboard dipped in white paint.  A white correction marker edged the crosses and numbers when they were dry. Other additions to the background included the stamping of a range of stamps including some houses and using a white waterbased pencil to trace around the flourishes and softened with some water.
Just look at all the detail Sandi has done on her background before she puts anything on her page.

I love the way Sandi has her numbers tumbling down her page.

Beautiful detail, it really sets the chipboard flourish off nicely.
