August Projects with Belinda Spencer

Hello!!

Belinda here today to share a few layouts I have created using some absolutely fabulous Imaginarium chipboard.

I love mixing and matching my chipboard pieces. It's a great way to make your chipboard go further and let's face it; they all work so well together.

On this first layout I have even used the negative, left over board from the Stars chipboard.

'Sun, Sky, Sea & Sand' Layout

I took inspiration from the Scrap The Boys July challenge for this layout to create a lovely beach themed page featuring a photo of my darling boy. I painted all of my chipboard pieces with white gesso to make them stand out from the blue background. To create a distressed, weathered look on some of the pieces, I placed a piece of scrap paper over the chipboard before the gesso was fully dry. When I removed the paper it took some of the paint away and roughed up the surface a little.

Here's what I used:

Next up is a layout I created for the August challenge at Kraft Plus Challenges.

'Never Grow Up' Layout

For this layout I wanted to add some lovely gold accents so I simply sprayed all of my chipboard pieces with metallic gold spray paint to co-ordinate with the gold doily on my page.

Here's a closer look.

'Gorgeous Smile' Layout

This final layout is one I recently taught at Seriously Scrapbooking. I really mixed it up by painting some chipboard with my usual white gesso, some were coloured using a black Posca Pen and some were covered in patterned paper.

Take a closer look.

Well that is all from me this month. I do hope you have enjoyed checking out my layouts and you feel inspired to get creating.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Cheers
Belinda
