"Travel Bug" and "Inspire"

Hi, everyone. Carol Theng here today sharing 2 projects. I made a layout and a mini album with shabby chic theme again. Love the sweetness of shabby chic.

"Got The Travel Bug"

Used texture paste and sand texture paste to create the texture for background. Then colored and misted with mists and watercolors and distress ink.

Gesso the new chipboard title, heart and pie chart chipboards and left them white. Love how they stand out.

I cut up some chipboard negatives and created a brick path again. Added some texture paste, micro beads and art stones. Also added 3D Diamond Ice Jewel paint dots randomly across page.

For my second project, I altered a old handphone casing. This idea came about when I share with my dear friend that I have some old casings from previous smartphones. And I want to alter them but no idea what. So thanks to my dear friend, Elaine who casually mention it can be a mini album cover.

"Inspire" Mini Album

Altered this casing for a mini album for my favourite quotes.  I like this casing design so I just left it as it is and only added some flowers.

Gesso and painted the chipboard frame negative with Prima Metallic Rose Gold paint. Painted the chipboard word with bronze paint and added glitter glue. Colored the heart chipboard with red acrylic paint.

Made a accordion style mini album with white cardstock as base and adhere to inside of phone casing.

The rest of chipboards are also gesso and painted with Prima Metallic Rose Gold paint. Added some green to the chipboard fence.

Here's the chipboards I have used:
