September Raw Inspiration

Hello and welcome to another post of inspiration using lots of Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.
Leonie here today.

For my first page I've gone completely raw with the chipboard.
When I was planning this page I chose the pieces that I wanted to used with this photo
and laid it out on white card stock as I would normally do when planning a page.
It kind of struck a cord with me straight away - all that natural chipboard looked
kinda cool against the white.

'So Proud of My Boyz'

After thinking it over for a bit I decided to go with it.
I think we're so used to colouring, inking painting chipboard that
it looked quite bare without any adornment.
But I'm really happy with how this page turned out.

The chipboard was glued down with gel medium and I added some ink splats to the card stock for some colour.

Here's what I used.

'Cherished Treasures'

So after my little experiment with Raw chipboard I kind of went back to inking, spraying and painting!
Here's what I created.

I accompanied the chipboard with the Something Wonderful paper collection by Teresa Collins.
So when it came to colouring the chipboard I matched it to the colours in the papers.

The Flourish and Trellis Corner were painted with teal colour paint then I added
a coat of crackle accents and a spray with Lindy's Stamp Gang mist for some
added gold shimmer.

The Cherished Treasures title I painted with paint dabbers and sprayed with
the same Lindys Stamp Gang Spray as used previously.

Here's what I used.

  3. Both layouts are fab but the one that stood out for me is the second one. Turquoise red and white is one of my very favorite color combinations and you have displayed them beautifully. Love how you showed that both plain and colored chipboard are equally effective on a layout.
