Hello!!
Belinda here today to share two layouts that I have created using some gorgeous chipboard pieces.
First up is my take on the White With One challenge for August which is white + liquorice.
Bit hard to see from the photo but I sponged some white gesso onto my chipboard pieces in a patchy kind of way. Once dry I added Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Black Soot over the top and then wiped away the excess with a baby wipe. Aren't all of those fabulous chippie words cool?? Totally love the arrows too.
Here's what I used:
IDDL0022 Loolabelle's Chevrons #2
IDDL0023 Loolabelle's Love Arrows
IDW0028 Love (4 per board)
IDW0078 Trouble Sweet Beautiful
IDW0080 Totally Adore Wonderful
IDW0081 This Always Day You
And here's my second layout...
I painted my title and chevrons with about 3 coats of white gesso. Once dry I dipped an applicator in water and added some soft blue Pan Pastels around the edge.
The stars are the perfect embellishment for a boy layout. Don't you think? I love them anyway. Here I have covered them with a thin wood veneer, painted gesso around the edges for a softer edge and then flicked paint from a Posca Pen over the top.
Here's what I used:
IDP0112 I Love Your Face
IDS0076 21 Stars in a board
IDDL0022 Loolabelle's Chevrons #2
Well that's all from me today. I hope you are feeling inspired to play with your chipboard too and experiment with altering them to suit your own project.
Thanks so much for visiting the blog today. Don't forget to leave a comment to go into the draw to win a pack of chipboard!
Cheers
Lovely technique used
