two time themed projects

Hi all!

Ingrid here today with two time themed projects.
Just because I'm having a great time playing with Imaginarium chipboard!!!

The background was created with misted tissue paper.
Glued it to the canvas with mod podge.
To highlight the cracks I sponged the tissue paper with some gesso.

Made a little cluster of three different chippies.
They were given a coat of gesso.

The clock got a coat with silver paint first and a finish with gesso.

Just love the textured look of the wrinkled tissue paper!

Other products used:

Prima , outdoor wall lamps and flowers
silver metal paint
cheesecloth
mod podge
doilies
lace
gesso

My second project is this alarm clock.
Have seen a few of these altered clocks and I thought I may give it a try myself.
Thanks to all the talented ladies but esp. Miranda for the inspiration!
Upcoming 4th of july is the day of my mom's passing 5 years ago. I needed to make something as a tribute to her, a wonderful, loving and sweet mother who is missed daily. On the photo is my mom with my two brothers and my sis.The little girl on the left is me!

The butterfly and flourish were left naked. The others got a coat of gesso.

Cut the clock face in two so the other half can be used for a future project.
