Good As Gold and A Wedding Anniversary!

Hello and welcome to the Imaginarium Designs Chipboard blog.
Leonie here today sharing my chipboard creations for February.   This month I decided to go with a bit of a gold theme, all the chipboard I've used has been coloured gold in various ways.   Gold still seems to be very popular which is fine by me because I love the way it looks on my scrapbook pages.

This first page features my parents in their younger days out on a date, with it almost being Valentines day I thought it an appropriate photo to scrap.  Plus, today is the 10th of February - their wedding anniversary- married 54years, what an awesome achievement.
Congragulations and love Mum and Dad!!  xx

I've added lots of Imaginarium Chipboards and teamed it up with the Hello Love paper collection from crate paper.

I used gold Stampendous embossing powder to emboss the chipboard frame and large heart on this page.   The script words I painted gold and then added gold glitter.  I just love how the gold chipboard all stands out against the pink, red and turquoise of the patterened papers.

All the chipboard I used on this page are linked below to the Seriously Scrapbooking shop.  Home of Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.

My Second page today, as I mentioned has gold chipboard pieces as well.
I painted all the chipboard on this page with gold acrylic paint.

Thanks for stopping by the Imaginarium Designs blog.
Don't forget to leave a comment to go in the draw for a prize pack our chipboard.

Cheers and Happy Crafting

Fun Creative Play with Mixed Media Tags :) :)

Hello hello :)

I have been messing around with some of my favourite mediums on some chipboard embellished tags again. :)

I have used and assortment of Lindy's Stamp Gang mists, Water colour Paint, and Stampencous Chunky embossing enamel.

I actually find this sort of creative play and experimentation quite therapeutic :) as it isn't something I usually do in my everyday paper crafting :)

I should really start using them as cards or gift tags shouldn't I LOL :)

These are the wonderful Imaginarium chipboard shapes that I used.

You,

A hearty Hi to all the Imaginarium Designs friends! It's me, Patricia again with a post for you. It is Saturday here in South Africa, at least it was when I wrote this post...hope to find you all doing well and crafting up a storm!

Today I used the Edward Relief Window and some Flourishes to create this page of my daughter Chantelle.

The papers are some old papers hidden away in my stash, no idea what so ever who they are from. I did a little hand stitching with a few pearl beads on the page. Also whitewashed the background with some Gesso and done some stencil work with a mask and some green Distress Ink.

My Window Frame was covered with a thick, uneven coat of Gesso and sprinkled with Spring Leaf Chartreuse embossing powder from Lindy's Stampgang. After heat setting with my Heat gun, I sprayed LSG Fuzzy Navel Peach Starburst and Treasure Island Turquoise Moon Shadow Mist onto it. The Mists settled nicely into all the nooks and crannies left from the embossing...

My Flourishes were lightly Gesso'd, inked with Forest Moss and Walnut Stain Distress Paint and some Rusty Hinge and Glossy Accents on the Berries.

Loving the Distressed look of the Window achieved from the Gesso...I cut the bottom part in half, rolled the sides to achieve some dimension and tied it together again with some string and a Prima Glass element.

For added texture on my page, I masked with Texture Paste and aged Ivory Embossing Enamel from Stampendous. The canvas frame is also a long time hoarded element, and the Butterfly a new Prima resin piece.

Some Prima and Petaloo flowers and a Prima Wood Bark Heart complete this LO of mine...The 'YOU" was cut from the phrase "Just for You" and also inked with the Distress Inks.
