March Inspiration from Leonie and New Chipboard Designs

Hello and welcome, Leonie with you today.

**Did you know that March is technique month here at Imaginarium Designs?
Throughout March each of our Design Team members will be sharing their favourite techniques to treat chipboard.
Our first lot of techniques were posted on Monday and there were some excellent ideas.  If you missed it head over HERE.

I have some new fabulous designs to share today.
So read on my friends.

Together Is A Beautiful Place To Be

My first page features the lovely title piece 'Together Is A Beautiful Place To Be'.  I've used a very pretty watercolour effect patterned paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection 'Wild At Heart'.  My thoughts in creating this page was to colour the chipboard to match the soft water colours in the paper.

For the butterflies I gave them a coat of gesso, then sprayed them with purple Dylusions Ink Spray and lastly applied clear embossing powder.

I used the same technique for the title, instead using a pink spray this time and for the twig I painted it with Cracked Pistachio Distress paint.

On the ornate flourish frame I used several different coloured embossing powders by Lindy's Stamp Gang.

You're My Treasure

For my second page today I've simply covered each chipboard piece with a couple of coats of gesso.  I felt this showed the chipboard at its best among the bright pink background and bright floral paper and embellishments from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Wild At Heart' Collection.

This gorgeous Floral corner frame is a new release chipboard for Imaginarium and I think it's just so pretty I can imagine using it in a variety of ways.

Nat's Hearts

Hockey Goalie

Lastly today I have my 'Hockey Goalie' page.  I used a mix of Imaginarium Designs alphas to make up the title on my page and embellished it with chipboard that I inked with black StazOn ink.  A
heart , arrows and another new design, a flourish that I cut in half to place either side of my photos.

Thanks for taking the time look at our blog today. I hope you've been inspired to get crafty with some Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.  New release chipboards are available via the Seriously Scrapbooking website HERE.

Happy Crafting until next time.
cheers,
Leonie Neal-Dawson.
