Rushing into Autumn with some vintage palettes

Hi everyone, Sonia here with my creations for March. Of course March means the end of Summer and we are now into Autumn. As soon as we hit Autumn I start thinking of all the fabulous colours in a vintage palette as the falling leaves on the trees always remind me of the colours used in vintage papercraft.
My first layout is in a beautiful sunshine yellow which I've partnered up with some purples so my colour palette mirrors the change of Summer into the darker colours of Winter

'Happy Memories' Layout

Imaginarium Designs products used: Photo Frame 1 (IDFR0002), Happy Moments title, and Nat's Hearts (IDD0042)

The chipboard has all been finished using one of my favourite techniques which is to heat emboss in white to give the chipboard a crisp, white finish.

The chipboard Nat's Hearts are the perfect size to pop into an area that needs a little bit of TLC

Next on the agenda was some tags (which I always love making as you can have so much fun with them. The tags I made were cut from some patterned paper that I had laying around. Now these tags are oversized at 10cm x 15cm so if you are not keen on tags then you can use the same concept to make them as cards:

'Take time to Discover You' Tag

Imaginarium Designs products used: Clock Face (IDS0006), Explore, Adventure words (IDW0100) and Isobel Upper Case (IDA009)

The gorgeous Clock Face was heat embossed in an aged bronze while the word and letters were inked in dark brown

'Paris Art' Tag

Imaginarium Designs products used: Inspire, Create Words (IDW0092), Butterflies, Set of 7 Leaves (IDFL0018)

The word 'art' has been inked in dark brown while the rest of the chipboard has been heat embossed in an aged bronze powder
