Chipboard and Flowers with Tracey Fowler

Hello, Tracey here with you today.
I have created three layouts using flowers and Imaginarium Designs Chipboard.
Not everyone agrees that you should put flowers on boys pages....well I disagree...I think flowers can work on boy pages..stick to a single colour, hide them under clusters or photos, and don't make them a feature of your layout.

"Your smile lights up my life"

I created the background for this layout by swiping white gesso up and down the page with a palate knife. I then used a stencil and texture paste to add some dimension, then added some green and mustard coloured spray.  For the Imaginarium Chipboard I have used a gilding wax in bronze to colour the chipboard
flourishes. I have heat embossed the arrows in aged silver and the title in white embossing powder.

"Magical Moments"

For this layout I have done the same as the one above, I have swiped some white gesso over the background, then used a script stencil and texture paste to add some dimension. I have then sparingly used a teal colour spray.  For the Imaginarium Chipboard hearts and title I have heat embossed them.

"True Love"

For this layout I have heat embossed the Imaginarium Chipboard frame in aged gold and the title in a black. I have cut a piece of cardboard and peeled the top layer of paper to revel the corrugated card. I placed it on the edge of the paper and then worked my flower cluster starting from underneath the frame. To bring all the elements together I have gently stamped a texture stamp around the edges around the layout.

  3. TFS Tracey, I usually end up using cogs or stars, so you've given inspiration to go and get my boy layouts done with (huge overflow of) flowers ;)
