Valentines, love and a little bit of vintage

Hi everyone, Sonia here with a bit of an assortment this month - a layout with one of my cheeky girls, a Valentine's card and some of my favourite vintage tags! I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that Valentine's Day is fast approaching - what on earth happened to January?!! However, as busy as life gets, as long as I can sneak in a bit of creative time now and then, it's all good.

'Cheeky Grin'

I am so in love with this flourish - it's just gorgeous!

The chipboard was all heat embossed with white embossing powder to get it a crisp, strong white finish

I love 'Nat's Hearts to finish off a page - they add wonderful movement when scattered on a page

'Vintage Tags - Create and Inspire'

When creating in a vintage style, an aged heat embossed finish to your chipboard just looks fantastic!

I used the gorgeous frames to highlight the vintage images - the metallic finish just makes the tag pop

Using heat embossing allows you to get great coverage of your chipboard without the mess of paint, particularly on small items

How fantastic is the detailing on the frame, it creates interest without over whelming the image

'Valentine's Day card'

I absolutely adore this phrase - it's just perfect for a Valentine's Day card for that someone special :)

Again I used Nat's Hearts to add flow to the card

The leaves are a perfect addition to add interest to the flower cluster and they help highlight all of the gold on the card

I hope I have given you some inspiration for your next crafting session! Have a wonderful Valentine's Day
