Triple Treat with Belinda Spencer

Hello!!

Belinda here today to share three layouts I have created featuring some amazing Imaginarium Designs chipboard pieces.

First up is a layout I created for the recent Imaginarium Designs and Lindy's Stamp Gang blog hop.

'Wild At Heart' Layout

The title was so perfect for the photo of my cute little wild child.

I inked the title and the Criss Cross Frame with Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink. Then I spritzed them with a little water before sprinkling on some LSG Magicals. I spritzed with a little more water and blended with a wet paintbrush where needed. It was all a bit of fun and experimentation and I just love the effect.

Loolabelle's Chevrons # 2 are my go to chipboard embellishment. I just love them. Here I have sprayed them with a metallic gold paint.

I have added some sweet little hearts sprayed with gold too.

'Hey You' Layout

This layout was my take on the current mood board challenge at Jot Magazine. I loved the colours in the inspiration image which inspired me to create a bit of a watercolour rainbow on my background.

There was a beautiful image of gold dipped white feathers in the mood board so I tried to recreate them using the fabulous Skeletal Feather. I simply painted it with a couple of coats of white gesso before drying it completely with a heat gun. I then added some washi tape to mask off an area to be embossed with gold. Once the washi was in place, I pushed the end of the feather into the embossing ink pad to make sure it was really well coated and then sprinkled with a glittery gold embossing powder. Once heat set I removed the washi tape to reveal my pretty gold tipped feather.
It is such a simple and effective technique! I liked the technique so much that I repeated it on my title too.

'Today & Everyday' Layout

(Please excuse the naughty words stamped onto the background. I got a new roller stamp from Typo and gave it a good work out. It is not meant to offend. It describes exactly how I feel about endless loads of washing!! If you don't like swear words, please scroll on by this layout.)

I kept things a little more simple with this layout, and simply gave all of my chipboard pieces a couple of coats of heavy white gesso.

And I mixed and matched chipboard pieces to create my title.

Well that is all from me this month. I do hope you feel inspired to have a play with your chipboard too.

Cheers
Belinda
