Guest Designer Krisy

Hi Lovelies,

It's Krisy back with my last Guest Designer share.

Recently, I have been playing a bit in my Art Journal.
In particular, I have been exploring colours, collage and textures.
What I love about Art Journalling is that is is what you want to make of it.  You can finish a page how ever you feel.  It is open for interpretation.  For this page I was dreaming of packing up and moving overseas again.  I decided to keep most of the chipboard raw for a nice contrast against all of the blue I used.  The blues represent the sea to me.

Here is my double page (this is in my A4 Art Journal just incase you are wondering the size):

The base of the page is built up of layers of newspaper, magazine images, mulberry paper, atlas pages, gyprock tape and of course colour.  I used Colour Blast Shimmer dust.

To make the title and the frame stand out against the busy background I have kept them raw.  Imaginarium Designs chipboard is a great product to use in your art journal as it is not too thick and won't add to much additional bulk.  (Art Journals can become very bulky with all that layering)

Here are some close ups of each individual page.

For the flag triangle shapes I have coloured them with some blue.
I wanted the words on the stickers to stand out rather than the chipboard.

Here is some of the products I used.

Well that's it for me. Thanks for having me for the second half of this year.
It has been so much fun.
