Thrice as Nice with Belinda Spencer

Hello!!

Belinda here today to share three of my recent layouts featuring the most fabulous Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

First up is a layout that I taught last Saturday at Seriously Scrapbooking.

'My Favourite Family Photo' Layout

I stuck to a kraft, aqua and gold colour combination for this layout. To co-ordinate, I painted some of the chipboard pieces with an aqua paint dabber and the rest I left raw.

I created lots of lovely layers of patterned papers and vellum on this layout. I cut up the 'My Favourite Family Photos Photo Frame' and slipped the frame parts between the layers.

I removed the cute little hearts from Loolabelle's Callouts and painted them with the aqua paint dabber.

'Love' Layout

I created this layout as part of the scraplift challenge at Charm's Creations and was totally inspired by a stunning Amanda Hartmann layout. I loved the soft, pretty pastels and gave my chipboard pieces a shabby chic feel with a little white gesso and a splash of Turquoise Kaisermist.

I learnt a valuable lesson when trying to glue my title on before the gesso was quite dry. I placed a piece of scrap paper over my title so I could rub over it to make sure it was stuck down properly. When I removed the paper it took a little of the not quite dry gesso with it. My initial reaction of' "Oh no!" turned into "Hey that's a pretty cool shabby look. I think I'll stick with it." I love a happy accident. I wonder if I can recreate the look on purpose? We'll see. :-)

'H' Layout

This was another layout that I created for the Charm's Creations scraplift challenge. This time I was inspired by a layout by the lovely and talented Chloe Nielsen.

I have simply given the chipboard pieces three coats of gesso for a fresh, white look perfect for a sweet baby layout.

I hope you have been inspired by my projects today.

*Don't forget to leave a comment to go in the draw to win a pack of chipboard*

Make sure you pop back tomorrow to see what delightful project the lovely Miriam has to share.

Cheers
