Romy's April Projects

Hi!
I hope you have had a lovely weekend.
On this Monday I would like to show you three projects that I made for Imaginarium Designs.

My first project is a lay-out titled 'Together', showcasing a photo of my parents.

On this lay-out, I used the beautiful Clock Frame below my photo.

I attached two tags and a resin bird on top of it to turn the clock into a real eye-catcher.
The clock was heavily inked with brown ink to give it a darker look.

I also used these two pretty dragonflies from Imaginarium Designs on my lay-out.

These dragonflies were also inked with dark ink. I added a pearl to their centers.

My second project is a romantic card with vintage colours.

I used this beautiful oval frame on my card...

...as well as two of these beautiful gears. They were all inked with brown distress ink.

My third project for today's blogpost is another romantic lay-out about my parents.
This photo of them was taken in Copenhagen, in front of the Little Mermaid statue.

I framed my photo with this beautiful, large oval frame:

Just like the other chippies, this frame was slightly inked with brown distress ink.
I also added a few rhinestones to it as a finishing touch.

I also incorporated this pretty title in the right lower corner of my lay-out.

I actually cut off the word 'Down', so that the title wouldn't be too big to fit in the corner of my lay-out.

I hope you enjoyed my blogpost.

Don't forget to leave a comment on this post for a chance to win a gorgeous package with Imaginarium Designs chipboard!

Hugs,
Romy

  2. Romy these layouts are all pretty.. Yet very different ! I love the first one. The way you used the clock is just excellent. And the dragonflies look fantastic as well. On your second project I love how you turned the oval frame to an upright position. Great way you filled it with a clock. The hat, the bird and the gears are just looking so perfect the way you used them. ... Your third project is so cute. I love the photo with the Little Mermaid in the background. I'm from Copenhagen so enjoyed so much seeing a great pic from there.
Thank you for sharing your fabulous art with us. So nice to get inspiration from skilled artist.
