Boy Stuff!

Hello, hello!

You are with Sandrine today for 2 masculine projects! I will start with a layout! For this project I really wanted to play with warm colours because of the red splash in the photo and decided to use Xmas papers as they were a perfect match!

"You are a Super Star"

I kept all the chipboard raw to keep with the colour scheme.

Here is a closie of the beautiful ears of barley:

The very cool title:

I really wanted my layout to be dynamic to match my busy little boy, and by building layers upon layers of elements/paper I think I did get that feeling. Here is a hexagon:

And a little number at the bottom:

SHEET OF NUMBERS (SMALL) IDN0002

4 EARS OF BARLEY IN A BOARD IDDN0024

SUPER STAR IDP0080

OTHER PRODUCTS USED: KAISERCRAFT PAPERS, MODELING PASTE, GESSO, KAISERCRAFT TEXTURE STAMP, RANGER DISTRESS INK, STAPLES, KITCHEN TWINE, WOODEN SPOOLS, WOODEN MINI PEGS, TATTERED ANGEL GLIMMERMIST.

Next I have a grungy canvas to share with you:

"Dinky Di" = Aussie term for True Spirit

I put a lot of work into my background: I have a few layers under the photo:
1) book page
2) slight layer of white gesso
3) Morroccan Chipboard Template (Moroccan shape 6X6) + Gel Medium Clear
4) More Gesso
5) Glimmermist
6) Black splatters (glimmermist)

Here is a closie of the beautiful effect created with the Moroccan shape chipboard:

I mainly used Tiny Cogs, they were covered with "Black Soot" Distress Pen, I built layers of different sizes cogs and glued them together. I adhered them onto the canvas with Gel Medium, I then sprayed them with blue and black glimmermists, lastly I added some "Pewter" Distress stain, I also added some "Calm Before the Storm" Glimmer Glam! A very sparkly creation:

Used half a "small clock face" from a previous project:

In the top right corner I added a title and 3 little cogs:

9 COGS ON BOARD (TINY) IDT004

6X6 MOROCCAN SHAPE IDS0006

SMALL CLOCK FACE (SET OF 3) IDS0030

 FOUR CLOUDS IN BOARD IDS0027

MAIN LETTER SET (SMALL) IDA0005

OTHER PRODUCTS USED:
- GESSO, GEL MEDIUM, TATTERED ANGEL GLIMMERMISTS & GLIMMER GLAM, RANGER DISTRESS PENS AND DISTRESS STAINS, PRIMA FLOWER & FINNABAIR'S CLEAR DOTS, METAL FINDINGS, PLUMBERS TAPE.
That's it for me for the month of October, I will be back next month with some new projects to inspire you!

Happy Scrapping!!!!
