Happy Easter/ Family Memories

Hi There!

Here's wishing you & your family a very Happy Easter! I hope you have had a fun & relaxing long weekend!
I'm sending this post out as I sit enjoying the sunshine from our caravan in Marlo, Victoria!

While enjoying the last few moments of sunshine in Victoria I have been inspired to create with bold fun colours!

This photo of my 3 kidlets is 2 years old now but it it is the first official portrait taken of the 3 of them together so I like to pull it out every now & then & scrap it again!

st
To decorate the border I first painted with gesso. I then used Prima chalk fluid ink in Teal Damask & lightly/randomly inked along the border. I wanted to add some colour but I still wanted the gesso to show through

To alter the branch & leaves I painted with gesso. I then mixed a it of gesso & Impasto in a bowl. Using a foam brush I sponged the mixture on.This dried leaving a textured look. I finished the look with a dot of yellow liquid pearls.

For the title I wanted a bold colour to make it really stand out. I painted a coat of Shimmerz in Sunny. To add a textured look I sponged some more of my Impasto/gesso mixture n while the Shimmerz was still wet. While doing it wet this allowed the colour to still strongly show through

The frame was altered using the Impasto/gesso mixture again. This closeup shows the lovely textured look

I have used lot's of Imaginarium Design goodies on this page.

This is my happy smiley Kayla. Wishing you Happyl Days is a perfect title for her as she is just such a Happy go lucky kid!

Because the page was so busy I wanted my chippies to stand out so I decided to use a solid colour for my pieces. The phrase was painted with Shimmerz in Magenta
The flourish was also painted with Shimmerz Magenta. I also applied some Helmar 450 glue then sprinkled some Shimmerz Enamelz in sparklicious. I then used my heat gun to set the Enamelz to get that sugared look

I first used gesso as a base coat the I heavily applied Prima chalk fluis Ink in Teal Damask all over. I then randomly applied Helmars 450 glue sprinkling Shimmerz Enamelz Sparklicious on top. Using my heat gun to set it. Liquid Pearls in silver was used to decorate

The border was painted with Shimmer Magenta. I then randomly smudges gesso with my fingers to soften the colour
