Louise ....... YOU ROCK!!!!!!!


So Summer has just started here in Australia - the best time of the year for most of us .... amazing weather, Christmas is coming and days at the beach!

Today I'm showing you a couple of layouts by our amazing DT member Louise Nelson. 
Lous has just been announced on the Tattered Angels Design Team and the Australian Scrapbooking Memories Magazine MASTERS list!
CONGRATULATIONS Miss Louise - we think you ROCK too!

Her first layout here reminds me of summer - the colour is AWESOME -
 
This is what Lou has to say about her pages .....
 
"Special"
For this particular layout louise has used the 'waste' from a shed to cut feathers as a mask. She has applied a coat of gesso over the mask onto a chipboard background, and then sprayed it with gesso. To highlight the gesso/mask feather Louise has sprayed it with Chalkboard glimmer mist.
 
 
"beautiful & brave"
For this particular layout Louise has used the feather design chipboard. it has been adhered to the chipboard background, and then had gesso scrapped randomly over both the feathers and the background. Louise has then applied liberal coatings of chalkboard glimmer mist and glimmer glaze to the feathers.

    Her work is absolutely beautiful -- so graphic and stunning -- I follow her blog religiously but probably never leave enough love. BEAUTIFUL!

    I am in awe of these layouts! Just incredible! I love how she used the chipboard pieces with different mediums to create the mask and then in another rhe actual pieces! Beautiful!
