Introducing the Glorious Gloria Stengel

 glo·ri·ous

adjective
1.
delightful; wonderful; completely enjoyable: to have a glorious time at CHA.
2.
brilliantly beautiful or magnificent; splendid: a glorious card.

Gloria and I have been friends for over two years now and I call her the Queen of Cards.
Her work is glorious as I continually tell her and I was delighted when she applied for our team.
Gloria's projects are classic and show her eye for detail and colour.
Her cards are beautiful and one would be honoured to receive one.
I am looking forward to seeing the Glorious projects she creates for us this year.
Here is what she had to say about herself.

My name is Gloria Stengel and I live in Oceanside, CA. I’ve been a CA resident since March 2005, after living in five other states. I live with my husband Matt, who is my “financial advisor,” and our three children, Nathan (20), Laura (16), and Jonah (11). Besides being “queen of the craft women,” I am also active in my church and I homeschool my two youngest children. (My oldest son has graduated and now attends college full-time.)
I have been hooked on paper crafts all of my life. I was always the child who needed all 96 crayon colors or all 48 colored pencils or the largest stack of colored paper. And now, I am collecting Copic Markers in a rainbow of colors! In 1990 I discovered rubber stamping and in 1996 I stumbled across "modern" scrapbooking. I renewed my paper love-affair, which is nothing short of an obsession. I've been on a number of design teams over the past few years, including Spellbinders (2011) and Graphic 45 (2010 and 2011), plus I create sample art for Hampton Art Stamps. I've been published a few times and I have a blog that is my creative link to the world (www.gloriascraps.blogspot.com).
I live for exploring and creating with all sorts of mediums and products, thus I am always on the hunt for new ways to "make a mess." My motto is “seek out new crafts that you have never done before.” I love the thrill of mixing product lines into my projects, and I guess my style is quite eclectic. I enjoy the creative process, the discovery, and the “happy accidents” that sometimes arise during crafting time. However, the biggest thrill of this business is teaching and instructing others. When another crafter holds up a finished project and says, "Look what I made!" I get the biggest kick out of it, especially if I had a small part in helping them learn a new technique.

Thanks so much for the introduction Gloria and we can't wait to see more of your glorious creativity.
