Finally Home

Well, I have finally made it home. Sorry for not posting earlier but the jet lag was not much fun. I have been flat out ever since, spending 10 days in the USA attending CHA was so much fun and jaw dropping for one little Aussie Girl. I got to meet so many lovely ladies from all over the world, including some of the big stars of scrapbooking. I could do some serious name dropping. It was nice to be home again, and I am already planning for next year. It has placed me a bit behind with my work load, which is the other reason for not posting. I am now on top for the moment. I must thank Nat for doing an amazing job introducing our design team while I was away. It was great to catch up with the blog at the end of each day and see who was next. I think we have collected an amazingly talented family of ladies from all over the world. I am honoured to be a part of team and hope you, like us enjoy the journey we are all about to take.
At CHA I met Candy for the first time, she was teaching a class using our chipboard and had the ladies using Copic markers to colour the chipboard. I was amazed to see how quickly and easily this worked. I had an ancestry class last week to teach and need the chipboard in a jade/blue colour. To get the right shade I needed to ink it with a couple of different inks. While this is fine for a one of piece, it makes it hard to then teach, as each person will get a different colour depending on how they ink. Bingo, Candy, I found the perfect shade of colour in my copic markers and coloured it in. I even did a different colour for the top of the flowers on my chipboard shape. Just love the easiness of adding the colour to my piece. It proved easy to teach and the ladies love it as well. So give it a try and let me know how you got on.
Thanks so much for all the lovely comments you have all been leaving. Don't forget to send us any layouts or off the page projects using our chipboard and we will put it on our website and show it on our blog.
Thanks for looking
Jane
