August Projects with Belinda

Hello!

Belinda here today to share three projects featuring amazing Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

First up is a layout I created for the August challenge at Kraft Plus Challenges.

'Imagine' Layout

I coloured the twig and the chevrons with a black Posca paint pen.

The freaky peep, leaf, heart and the leftover negative board from the tiny stars were all coloured with a variety of Kaisermists.

Next up is a layout I created in my new favourite A4 size.

'Lazy Days' Layout

This time I have used a white Posca paint pen to colour my chipboard.

I added some pink to some of the chipboard with a Prima chalk ink.

I covered the inner bits of the pie charts with co-ordinating patterned papers.

And my final project is a card I created for my son who turned 11 last month.

'11' Card

For this project, I painted all of the chipboard with three coats of white gesso to contrast with all of the beautiful blue in the patterned papers I used.

Layouts and a Letter with Belinda Spencer

Hello!!

Belinda here today to share lots of projects featuring an eclectic mix of fabulous Imaginarium Designs chipboard. I hope they inspire you to get out your own stash of ID chipboard and have a play.

'Adore' Layout

This layout was my entry for the Jot Magazine January Mood Board. I have used a tiny photo of my darling son a couple of days after he was born. So cute!

To match the cuteness of the photo, I have added some sweet fussy cut animals and lots of little stars and hearts.

To keep to the colours in the mood board I wanted to use a particular very old Glimmermist in my stash. Of course the nozzle was clogged and would not unclog no matter what I tried. So instead of spraying it on I sprayed water onto my cardstock and then loaded up a soft, wet paintbrush with the mist and painted it on.

To keep things consistent, I also painted the chipboard pieces with the same mist. It's a little hard to see in the photo but it has given them a lovely shimmery look.

'You Make Me Smile' Layout

For this layout I used a favourite colour combination of aqua, white and gold and it just so happens to co-ordinate with the beautiful butterfly painted on my daughter's face.

All of the chipboard pieces were coloured using either a white or a gold Posca Pen.

'Summer Paradise' Layout

I created this layout for the February challenge at Kraft Plus Challenges. It features a whole heap of chipboard in it's raw state. I actually love using it completely unaltered and it certainly matched the natural theme of my layout.

'Create Art' Pocket Letter

Finally for something a little different! A pocket letter!

This was such a fun project to create. Lots of cute little pockets to fill with pretty things.

I painted all of my chipboard pieces with three coats of white gesso to make sure they were a lovely crisp white.
