Autumn Baby

Hello everyone, Adriana here to share my layout with you today
using the wonderful Imaginarium Designs Chipboards.

In my part of the world we are heading into Summer, one of my favourite times of the year, the other season I love is  Autumn. I love it when the leaves and the landscapes all turn to brown and rustic colours.

I created a layout of my Daughter when she was a baby,
This is my sweet "Autumn Baby".
I created all the leaves in my layout with various Graphic 45 paper and diecuts.

The Chipboards are painted, inked and glossy accents applied to them.

Halloween Witch

Hello everyone, Adriana here to share some Halloween Fun today

Most children will be excited about this event that takes place on the 31st.
Halloween night
Here in Australia we don't really celebrate this event, but
it is slowing catching on with the local children.
My daughter loves to get dressed as a witch, putting on her hat  and black dress
and riding a little broom stick. Knocking only on the a few local
houses that participate on this occasion with "trick n treat".
The rule in our suburb and local neighbours are -  tie a ribbon on your door or
gate on Halloween night, then children are welcome to trick 'n' treat there.
No ribbon - no trick 'n' treating.
My daughter is so looking forward to it this year, just 30 more sleeps.

So here is a
Happy Haunting Card - using the
G45 papers and Imaginarium Designs chipboards.

The chipboard witch is on a collection of Halloween images

Bonjour !! from Adriana

Hello everyone and Bonjour!
Adriana here with a quick post sharing a card and an altered art project
using the gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboards.

First here is a 3D Eiffel Tower. I used 4 large Eiffel tower chipboards
these towers are 23cm high, I painted them black on both sides and carefully
glued them together.
I then arranged a spray of flowers, ribbon and jewels.
Adding also some mini butterflies IDT0014
which have been painted with Dabber Salmon paint
and then applied Stickles Diamond glitter to make them glittery.

and here is a card using G45 paper “Ladies Diary” and Imaginarium Designs Chipboards

Every Picture has a story to tell - Adriana

Hello there everyone,

Today we have Adriana's layout and a card that she has created using
Imaginarium Designs chipboards.

"Every Picture has a story to Tell".

Adriana says, "In scrapbooking every photo or picture has a story to tell, this is so true.
The photograph here is of my darling daughter, she is framed inside a frame placed
in a scene of bird's nest and eggs.
The picture was taken around Easter time, a great time of the year.
I added the Imaginarium Designs oval frame on the top of the photo frame.
I created a cluster of flowers and added the ID chipboard twigs at the end of the cluster.
I then added the phrase, silhoutte of little girl reading (my daughter loves reading books)
and the birdcage.
I painted the clouds with white gesso and inked the edges,
then placed foam tape to add depth to the clouds"
Imaginarium Designs chipboards used are

Altered Art Projects from our Design Team

Today I am sharing some Altered Art Projects for you. These are pieces that will hang on a wall or stand on an easle. I love this style of scrapbooking and the three pieces I have to share today are just beautiful. Each one is different from the other ones, but each one is very special.
First up is one from Adriana. She has called hers Home Sweet Home.

Here is what Adriana had to say about her project

" When I received this “Emma Frame” IDTFR0012, it reminded of my days when I did quilting and stitching. With the small rectangles and squares with the gorgeous flourish on top and inside the frames. I decided to make a mini quilt hanging piece, and have called this project,  “Home Sweet Home”.

First I painted the Emma frame with brown paint, then embossed ink all over the frame, sprinkled Vintage photo distress embossing powder by Tim Holtz. Heated the frame with my heating gun. The finished effect is like a soft suede mat look with a vintage distress look.

Then I cut a piece of chipboard slightly bigger than the frame covered with it paper, inked the edges then added lace & ribbon on bottom.  I then cut out pieces of paper, placed on the underside on each opening. Inked the Letters, flourishes and tinies. Arranged embellishments. Attached clips to hold the frame on top, tied with beautiful seam binding. Then attached the finished frame on to the covered chipboard square.

Inks, seam binding, ribbon and mini flowers
How special is this wall art piece, Adriana makes it all sound so simple. I love all the bits and pieces whe has added to her frame.

Next up is Karen
Again she has created a wall hanger and in true Karen style it is full of detail with lots of little bits and pieces. You could spend a hour looking at this and still see more and more.

Karen has used Tim Holtz configurations boxes to make this piece of art.

This photo shows the inking and stamping Karen has added to the chipboard flourish.

So many little bits and piece to take in, here it is the pearls she has used to great effect.

Karen has used BoBunny papers, and cut and punched lots of butterflies. Karen has inked her chipboard then stamped over the top for a beautiful effect.

Each little compartment is a complete work of art.  You can tell this project has taken quite a lot of time. So much attention to detail and beautifully done. Karen is quite the master at this form of scrapbooking.

Three different Layouts, three different looks

Today I have some more layouts to share with you all if you are needing some more inspiration.
First Heather has a lovely layout for you. Her layout looks simple but she has done quite a bit to her cardstock before she even started working on her layout.

Heather has used a mask with ink to give the chicken wire look to her layout.

IDP0036 Wishing You Happiness

Heather has this tip to share "I cut the branches in two and used each piece separately on the page ...one section is attached to the top right corner and the other is layered with the twigs"
Heather always uses stamps on her work and always does some pen lines. Heather inked all her chipboard with Raspberry Versa color ink.

IDFL0013 Twig (2 on a Board)

Heather's handy tip...
Most of the chipboard can be cut into sections and used creatively as I have demonstrated on this page ... experiment with your pieces and you will be amazed how versatile these chippies are .

other items
white bazzill card
kraft card
Raspberry Versa color ink
Crafters workshop mask
Velvet flowers – Megs Garden
bumble tags
stamp by MAGENTA  made in Canada
What a lovely layout from Heather, thanks so much for sharing with your page with us. To see more of Heather's work, visit her blog.

The next Layout is one from Adriana. I love the photo she has chosen and how she has worked her page around it. There is a lot to look at on this wonderful page.

Adriana's layouts always look lovely, with lots of little bits and pieces to take in. She has done some punching along one edge of her page. I love the finish on her chipboard, she has inked it and added some glossy accents to make it shiny.

IDFR0003 Swirly Frames 6x4 inches

IDAUC0001 Capital letters

I love the way Adriana has layered her chipboard title on top of each other. She has used the alpha's and layered a word on top. Again she has inked them and added glossy accents.
Once again a lovely layout from Adriana. To see more of her work visit her blog.
The last layout is from Me. This is one I did for Graphic 45. I have a tutorial on my blog for making this layout if you want to have a go.

It is a page I did on my son. He traveled with me to the USA early this year. We spent a day at Disney Land and we went on the "mad hatter ride"  Josh worked out that if you turned the wheel faster the cup span faster. He had great delight in turning the wheel as fast as he could and watching me turn green. I love the way the photo has captured the movement of ride in the back ground. I painted a clock black and layered another title cream and glued them on top of each other.

IDS0006 Clock face (3 Inch)

I used papers from Graphic 45's olde Curiosity shoppe. I used 3L adhesive tape runner and foam tape. I also used 3L black photo corners. I love these and I used them by the packet full.
I have a thing about clocks, I used them on lots of my projects.

That's it for today, please leave a comment and go into the draw to win some chipboard.
Have a great weekend
