A Bit of Vintage & Modern Pop with Tracey Fowler

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the Easter Break...I know I certainly am and even made some time to get a little crafty in my scrap room.  Today I have two very different layouts to share with you and a card that I have made for my nephews upcoming birthday.

My first layout is one I have created with a vintage feel. It is a picture that was taken many, many years ago of my grandparents celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

"Perfect"

I have used lots of gorgeous ID chipboard in this layout. I have heat embossed them (I know, it is one of my favourite ways to work with chipboard). Creating clusters and adding chipboard leaves and flourishes is a great way to add more interest and dimension.

I have used the following ID Chipboard in this layout
Maddison Flourish which has been heat embossed in gold, Denise's Flourish,  and Monarch Butterfly

"Adventure"

My Second layout is very different to what I normally create, but I actually really enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone!

I have used the following ID chipboard and have inked the chipboard with Distress ink and painted the title with white gesso.

"5 Today"

My final project I have to share with you is a card that I have made for my nephew who will be turning 5 in a few weeks time!

I have heat embossed the Bicycle in black and the words and number I have coloured using a red ink pad.

Well that is it from me today, enjoy your Easter break and I hope that you all get some downtime and enjoy spending time with your loved ones.

    1. I just took a trip through February and March looking to see if I had missed the announcement of chipboard winners and did not see any. Did I miss it? I just don't want to miss seeing my name if I am a winner. THanks and Happy Easter!
