Full of Inspiration ....

I hope you are ready for an EPIC blog post today full of inspiration from our talented girls.

First up is Miriam with this gorgeous Box & Book!

"Hello everyone. My project here is an altered art box with room inside for photos and journaling. The Imaginarium chipboard has been painted with red acrylic paint and sprayed with sliver glitter dust."

Amanda has created this fun page using borders

"Border chipboard needn't be typical and boring! On this layout I've combined 3 borders to create a fun, textured background for my boy page. I've used matte black ink to really make the chipboard pop. I also cut up a left over end and tucked it under the Admit One ticket to add interest and dimension."

Leeann's page is just divine...

"I love this chipboard bubble border and decide it would make a great focal point for a wee photo I have of Jorja at the beach. I used a white distress ink to color the chipboard. It was quick and easy and three coats are perfect. I decide to embellish some of the bubbles with buttons, sequins etc. I also used a small flowers stem and used the distress ink on this too. I add hints of color by flicking paint."

And finally Sue has made a little pencil box...

"To start the year off, I like to use up old chipboard and one of the most left over is alphabets. This is a little wooden pencil box I have altered for my daughter to take to school. Of course her pencils will not fit in this, but she is going to use it for her sharpener and eraser. I have trimmed pieces of chipboard to fit, adhered them with gel medium and painted black with gesso then rub over metallic pastes and paints to give a luminous look, add a little tassel to pull the top off. Dont forget to paint the inside...this makes a cute little gift for any budding artist or student"

I hope you enjoyed todays post!

Have a great day
