Romy's June Projects

Hi!

Summer has finally arrived in the Netherlands. On this sunny Saturday I would like to show you three projects that I made for Imaginarium Designs. I made two lay-outs and a card, which all feature a few of my favourite Imaginarium chippies.

My first project is a shabby chic lay-out with a photo of me at the Trevi fountain on it.

On my lay-out I used the gorgeous 'Swirly Frame' chipboard piece to frame my photo.

I first covered the frame with gesso and then stamped on it with a text stamp and brown distress ink.

I also added a few fussy cut images from different papers in the corners of the frame.

On my second lay-out I scrapped a photo of my best friend's adorable rabbits. Aren't they just the sweetest?

I used the beautiful 'Laugh every day' title and Loolabelle's arrows on this lay-out. I heat embossed these chippies with white embossing powder.

I also added two of these beautiful butterflies, which I gave a brown look with distress ink.

My third project is a travel card. My inspiration for this card came from the beautiful chipboard hot-air balloons from Imaginarium Designs.

I covered these lovely hot-air balloons with white embossing powder.

I hope you liked my projects.
Would you like to have a chance to win some Imaginarium Designs goodies just for you? Then leave a comment on this post to be in a random drawing of one goodiebag winner.

  2. Very beautiful layout indeed and I pinned it for inspiration. I like the shabby style with soft and muted pink colour theme, so gorgeous. The swirly frame chipboard is awesome after painted with gesso and inking text stamp, what a brilliant technique! Just love everything of the layout!

  5. Romy, you picked the perfect color scheme to go with your pretty hair. In fact, I love the colors you chose for each page. That chipboard frame is fabulous. I love all the fussy cut images you added. The layers on all the pages are wonderful. I love all the paper choices you made. It's as if you said to yourself, now which papers would Jean like, LOL. Well done

  6. Love the big frame on the first layout. Hadn't noticed pieces that big before. Great idea.
Love the bunnies. When I was little my grandparents gave me a bunny. It ended up living with them and had the run of the house. He was wonderful company for my grandmother.
thanks for sharing such beautiful pages.
