April Is Getting A Lil Sandy....

Hi there!
Hard to believe that another month is upon us;
Welcome April!
We hope you have been enjoying our Design Team's theme posts this year!
This month's theme is all about shining the spotlight on our friends over at

Yes, I know, sand is simply raw chipboard -
But I promise you our talented team of designers have taken raw to a whole new level!
Infact, by the end of this month, I think you'll agree
that natural chipboard has an understated awesomeness to it!!!
Check out these two amazing layouts:

First up is this incredible work of art from Solange......

Simply aaaahhh-mazing!!! So much texture and depth to this layout!
Here's a closer look....

Love the stamping and flicks of gesso over the hot air balloon - just awesome!

And such a clever use of the chipboard honeycomb background!
WOW!!!

Our second layout today comes from our gorgeously talented Romy.
A male page which is nothing short of stunning!

She has daubbed bark coloured ink to add interest to her chipboard title and arrows.....
Very cool effect and adds to the masculinity of the layout.
Here's a closer look.....

Love that brassware accent on the title too!
Just Fabulous!

Wow!
So much chippie inspiration!

  3. Both layouts are fabulous. On the first, I love how you blended over the photo to make it one with the page. The raw chipboard looks fabulous. Captures the feel of the sandy beach. The second layout is wonderful. Terrific guy page. Love them both.

  4. Solange and Romy made some very pretty inspirational layouts. They are so different and both of them fascinating. Love all the extra metal items on Romy's layout...
