More from our Guest Alyona

Hello to you all.

I have another amazing project from our Guest Designer for August..... . Alyona Shapel.. an incredible double page!

"Hi! Today I want to tell you the story how we had a little adventure in Belarus.
Around the capital city Minsk you can find the two ancient castles: Mir Castle and Nesvizh.
They are gorgeous and what is the best way to relay the antiquity spirit than to use a chipboard?

Here there is my two pages layout.

I covered my chipboard with Lindy`s Stamp Gang Moon Shadow mist  then applied Treasure Gold wax and Pebeo Moon Fantasy paint.

Does my chipboard looks like worldly-wise?

On the first page I would like to highlight arcs and windows of the Castle.

For titles I just cover chipboard by black gesso and in one case I added golden embossing powder on the top corner.

For the second layout I want to stress on the ancient architecture and gates which castles usually enclosed.

I like to mix raw chipboard with painted. In my opinion it is underline the nature and history of the story and by the way make lighter some parts of layout.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a nice day!"

Isn't it amazing?
