Altered Burlap Panel and Tag

Hey everyone, so I know I usually create "big" projects, but this month i opted for a bit more simple approach. Sometimes i just need to be creative without committing to time consuming project. So little canvases or burlap panels are ideal! And who doesn't always need a quick card and tag to gift someone :)
First up I altered this Tim Holtz District Market panel. Love these things!
I used lots of bits and pieces of chippies. The numbers, and the Moroccan panel ! Love this panel!

All of my chippies were gessoed , mostly randomly. Not covering them completely. The "remember" was stamped with staz on and a script stamp (G45 A Ladies Diary). The frame , which i trimmed down, was spritzed with Treasured Hymn Shimmerz and stamped as well.
I used the numbers and Moroccan panel bits to just add to the background.

Next is this super girly little tag using G45 Birdsong! I love these little paper dresses! i have been experimenting making them, so far this is the only one i am decent at lol!

The dressform chippie was perfect for this attempt! I just inked it with frayed burlap distress ink, then traced my "bodice" out . The skirt was super easy to achieve! The "wishes" was inked the same and then I added a few liquid pearls to it!

Thank you all so much for viewing! Don't forget to LEAVE A COMMENT, for a chance to win a chippie prize pack!~

  2. Beautiful tags and dress forms are my favorite, but this time I kove the burlap, metal, chain and pearls with the chipboard, texture and flowers.
