GoodBye Gloria and Welcome to Miranda and Larissa

Time to say goodby to another old and dear friend. Gloria and I have been on the Graphic 45 Design team for the past three years and Imaginarium Designs for the past two years. I also got to met Gloria in 2011 and 2012 when I visited CHA. She is a lovely and talented lady and I call her the "Queen of Cards". Her work is just lovely and her cards amazing. I am going to miss her this year.

As you can see from the card Gloria made, she is the "Queen of Cards"

She also does the most wonderful layouts. I love the way she layers all her elements together.

Gloria has a great eye for colour and every project she creates is wonderful.
I wish her all the best for this year in what venture she undertakes. I hope she and her family have a safe and wonderful 2013.
Hugs to my special USA friend.

Now its time to introduce you to another 2013 Design Team Member.
Miranda Edney from UDA,  here is what she had to say about herself

" My name is Miranda Edney and I am from sunny Florida!  I have been crafting for about 2 1/2 years now, and my passion is for altered art! I am a huge fan of grunge/mixed media art. But I am always bouncing around to all of the areas of art and trying my hand at them. Chipboard is a STAPLE in my crafting supplies! I love to alter pieces using crackle paints and mists, but my favorite is to create 3D elements using chippies! I strive to think outside of the box, and come up with unique ideas! When I am not crafting, I am usually spending time outdoors with my fiancee and just enjoying life! I am a very humble, fun loving person!
I love to teach as well! I have a youtube channel where i post tutorials and share detailed videos of my work. I also am an educator for a couple of design teams. . .
I currently design for Swirlydoos Kit Club as an educator, Guest Designing for Shimmerz as an educator, I design for Iamroses flowers, The Piece By Piece Laces, and Discount Paper Crafts Designer/DT coordinator.
I thoroughly LOVE to create, it is my happy place. My craft room is my little sanctuary and I am in there daily working on projects! "

You are going to be inspired by Miranda's work she is an altered artist diva! and I love her work already!

Now I want to re-introduce you to Laissa Albernza.
Larissa has been on our team for the past year. She has magic pouring out of her scissors
Here is what she had to say about herself when she applied for our design team.

My name is Larissa Albernaz and I´m from São Paulo, Brazil. I´ve been married to my sweet husband Flávio for 12 years and we have an adorable daughter Isabela.

As a paper crafter, I have been scrapbooking for seven years. Along these years, scrapbooking has provided me a great sort of artistic possibilities and a lot of fun! In fact, I love scrapbooking because it provides me to  express myself in style, mixing paper, embellishments, colors, memories and a message.
While scrapbooking I pursue something that has sense to me, which inspires me and that can be different, interesting, cute, creative, colorful and fun!
I adore papers and creating page layouts or 3 dimensional pieces!. One of my life’s little pleasures is to cut, tear and distress papers, creating anything that translates the story I want to tell.

My style is eclectic, crafty. I love adding a lot of layers to my collages, including some paints or inks and I pay great attention to the details.

I´m also on the design team at Prima Marketing, Webster`s Pages, 7 Dots Studio, The Color Room, {Entreartistes} magazine, Imaginarium Designs Chipboards  and Yummy´s, a Brazilian online store.

You can check out my works at my blog: http://www.lariscrap.typepad.com

Here is some of Larissa's work from last year. Just look at all the bits and pieces she layers on her work.
Again another classic Larissa layout, so beautiful
Again, don't you love her work, lots of embellishments and pretty items, beautifully layered on all her work.
If you want to see more of Larissa's work visit her blog
Larissa Albernaz

Well that's it for today, make sure you leave a comment and I will choose someone to win some of our chipboard to play with.

Thanks for looking
