Altered Container and Tag with Nadia!

Hi everyone! Nadia with you today showing you a couple of projects I created using Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

"For My Girls " altered container

This container full of biscuits was given to me last Christmas. I knew it would come in handy one day, so when I was looking for a box to place some quotes and life lessons I have been collecting to give as advice to my daughters this was perfect!

I went for a very shabby and soft/romantic feel to this and I will admit it took a while to put together, but....let's just say it's worth it and hopefully my daughters can see the love that has been put into this one day!

Here is a side view..

I used the 8" Circles Border  (3 of them all around the container) which was SO flexible and easy to adhere to the paper with glue. All I did was ink it grey, and then dab thick paint with my fingers in random places.

Here is a look from the top.

I used a number of pieces here, including My Girls title, which I inked in a light and dark coloured ink and applied Glossy Accents over. I also used Main Letter Set (lower case) Alphabet for the word "FOR".

Under the title, I also used the Mirrored Bracket on Oval Frame, which was left almost raw and dabbed some grey ink on it.

And lastly, a Tulip Flourish was positioned under all that cluster, which you can see peeking from under the title. This was simply painted with gesso a few times.

Now here is my second project.

"You make me smile"  tag

This tag if for my friend Vicky, who makes me smile no matter what. We work together and have done so for about 8 years now and even through some tough days at school, when I look back at my day I realised that she always has said something to make me smile. So I thought she should know :)

I used 2 pieces of Imaginarium Designs chipboard here. I used the  8" Circles Border  on the base and the Leaves and Circle. For the border, I inked it grey and dabbed some white paint on it before finishing it with Glossy Accents. For the leaves, I left the base raw, and painted it white with my fingers to give it a messy finish. I then finished it with Glossy Accents.

You can find all the pieces of chipboard I have used at Seriously Scrapbooking HERE, or by clicking on the links I have provided above or below..
