More Projects from Solange

Back again with some more of Solange's beautiful work. This time I have three very different layouts to share with you. I love the colours and the layering Solange puts into all her work.
The first one is called "Our little Girl". Again Solange has done amazing background for the foundation of her page. I love the brick wall effect and the colours.

Look at the way Solange has made her photo "pop"on her page by creating the darker area around the photo. Solange has painted her butterflies with Gesso then stamped over the top with a writing stamp image.

For her titles Solange painted her title black.  Solange has even done some fussy cutting. She has cut flowers from her print papers and layered them onto her page with foam tape.

What a special layout, it so bright and pretty with so much to look at. Isn't the little person in the photo so cute. I love the way Solange has created a full on layout, but the photo is still remains the focus.
"ART"
Next up is another layout. This one is delicate and delightfully pretty. The colours are still strong and the focus of the layout still remains on the photo. There are lots of elements on the page and again some fussy cutting. Solange has created a beautiful background as the foundation for this lovely layout.

Solange has used one of our boarders cut into pieces and added to her page as part of the outer frame.

Just look at the close up of Solanges background. She has used inks, papers and mists to create the perfect foundation.

Solange has even used transparent butterflies to add more detail to her layout, add to the "lightness" of her page

Last up is a beautiful layout titled "Kiss Me". How cute is the photo, who would not like a kiss like that!

Again Solange has created an amazing background for the foundation of her layout. It looks like she has done some embossing on her page as part of the background. Look at all the colours she has incorporated into the background.

Solange has painted her alpha's with gesso and passed an ink pad over the letters.

Solange painted the feathers with acrylic paint and covered them with velvet flocking.

Thanks so much Solange for sharing these three wonderful layouts with us today. I am a big fan of Solanges work. I would love to be able to do mixed media like this, being able to create your own founation page to work on must be great fun and very rewarding.
