Introducing the Brilliant Natalie May

bril·liant

adjective
1.
distinguished; illustrious: a brilliant layout by Natalie May.
2.
having or showing great intelligence, talent, quality, etc.: a brilliant Scrapbooker.

Natalie's work has continued to change over the time I have know her.
She is just getting better and better. Her style is varied. She can do pretty pretty and grunge grungy. Her work includes layouts, off the page projects, mini books and altered art as well as cards. In face she is a brilliant all round scrapbooker.
I am looking forward to seeing the brilliant projects she creates for us this year.
Here is what she had to say about herself.

My name is Natalie May.
I am a 30 something mum to a gorgeous 8 year old daughter, Jessica and a wife to a very supportive hubby.  I am a full time paper crafter, working in Adelaide's best Scrapbooking shop, Seriously Scrapbooking, teaching around 10 classes a month and designing chipboard for Imaginarium Designs,
I have been a card maker for about 15 years and discovered Scrapbooking late 2006. It’s such a brilliant creative outlet, with no restrictions as to what you can do and VERY addictive! {but hey ... you already knew that!}
I don’t believe have a particular style - I let the paper guide me ... I love to experiment and try new things ... and I create what my students are asking for too! My theory is…. “ If it looks good – Stick it down!”
I love working off sketches and I am heavily influenced by all the talent in this industry.
I love using a variety of techniques on my pages from dry and wet embossing, Glimmermist, inking and more recently I have become addicted to my Cuttlebug again. I like to experiment with Gesso and Texture Paste and I have a very soft spot for chipboard.
I have been published in all 3 Australian Scrapbooking magazines and have recently been part of the Scrapware Design team as well as a couple of online DTs and currently I am on the Design Team for Imaginarium Designs Chiboard.
I have recently taught at a couple of Australian fairs and in the next 12months, have a couple of retreats and conventions coming up that I cant wait to teach at!
Thanks so much for the introduction Nat and we can't wait to see more of your Brilliant creativity.
