Imaginarium Designs will be at  the 2019 Brisbane Scrapbook Papercraft & Art Expo!

The dates are June 6th-9th 2019. Between Sonia and myself we are teaching 12 classes over 4 days.

Thursday Session 1 – 10.30am to 12.30pm

  
Mariposa with Sue Smyth

Skill Level: Intermediate
Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly, and in this class, you will showcase large lovely butterflies in a cleverly altered frame. Learn how to add dimension and interest to chipboard, from the hammered metal look to the glittered chip butterfly. Mix in some mica flakes, glitter and Art Alchemy waxes to finish your glorious plaque perfect for a book or journal cover or as a canvas to decorate your home.
Kit includes: All you need to make your own project, mediums, images, chipboards and step-by-step instructions.
What to bring: Basic tool kit, paint brushes, wipes, water jar, messy mat, heat gun if possible.

Mermaid Tales with Sue Smyth
Skill Level: Intermediate
Indulge your inner siren and create a glorious journal with a beautiful resin mermaid. Play with Inka Gold, wax mediums and alcohol inks to create a perfect underwater world for your mermaid. Learn how to add texture to your journal, alter chipboard and resin and blend colours. There is plenty of room to personalise, and you can build it on canvas if you bring your own.
Kit includes: All you need to make your own project – mediums, images, chipboard and step-by-step instructions.
What to bring: Basic tool kit, paint brushes, wipes, water jar, messy mat, heat gun if possible, extra rhinestones if you want to personalise.

Steampunk Spectacle with Sue Smyth
Skill Level: All levels welcome
Celebrate steampunk and make a practical project too, you will convert a spectacle case into a work of art or beautiful trinket box. You will work with rust paste, alcohol inks, Inka Gold and lots of bling to alter chipboard, trinkets and resin elements.
Kit includes: All material needed to create a steampunk spectacle case, spectacle case, mediums, chipboard and step by step instructions.
What to bring: Basic tool kit, paint brushes, wipes, water jar, messy matt and extra rhinestones or trinkets if you want to personalise, heat gun if possible.

Tin Soldier with Sue Smyth
Skill Level: Intermediate
Join Sue to make an altered plaque featuring a sweet stoic tin soldier surrounded by cogs, beads and trinkets. You will use common Alfoil, book paper and chipboard to give dimension and texture, and play with rust paste, Inka Gold and waxes plus much more. This can be used for a book cover or adhere to a canvas to hang.
Kit includes: All you need to make your project, mediums chipboard and step by step instructions.
What to bring: Basic tool kit, paint brushes, wipes, water jar, messy mat, heat gun if possible.
Cost: $50
