Celebrating Easter a few days early!

Hi everyone, Sonia here with my March post celebrating Easter just a few days early! When I sat down to do my projects for this month I wanted to do a couple of Easter themed items along with a layout that included some cute photos Alex had taken.
When you are working to a holiday or celebration theme, you don't need to necessarily use themed papers and embellishments. That's the great thing about scrapbooking - no rules, just play away!!

Treasure The Time

Imaginarium Designs products used: Janice Flourish (IDFL0026), 4 Small Butterflies (IDT0014) and 'Treasure the Time' phrase (IDP0144)
The title phrase has been heat embossed using white embossing powder to give it a clean white finish without losing any of the fabulous detail
The small butterfly was heat embossed using gold embossing powder which looks beautiful against the deep red flower
The Janice Flourish adds beautiful dimension and movement to the floral cluster

Happy Easter Card

Imaginarium Designs products used: Jackie Frame (IDFR0033), 4 Small Butterflies (IDT0014), Main Alphabet Upper (IDA0006) and Main Alphabet Lower (IDA0004)
Butterflies always symbolise change and new life to me so they are perfect to add to my card along with the eggs and bunny image!

The gorgeous Jackie Frame and Alphas have been spray painted using a matt white paint

The detail on the top of the Jackie Frame is just beautiful and the spray paint covers the chipboard without losing any of that delicate detail

Capture the Moment

Imaginarium Designs products used: Cross Hatch by Louise (IDD0056), 'Capture, Moment, Smile' (IDW0076) and Heart Stencil (IDMM001)

The 'Capture' and 'moment' from the phrase pack have been inked with Pinecone Brown ink

The amazing Cross Hatch has been heat embossed in aged gold embossing powder and then cut into a few different pieces. A small offcut has been used under this floral cluster

The main part of the Cross Hatch has been used to create movement and dimension in the top left of the page

My absolute favourite stencil at the moment! The beautiful 'Hearts' Stencil

When the sprays are combined with a water spray they move in between and over the raised hearts creating a gorgeous background

Have a wonderful and safe Easter! Hopefully you manage to get a bit of creating time in there over the Easter weekend!
