Hello to all our Chipboard fans!
Leonie on the Imaginarium Designs blog today and I
have two super bright and cheery colourful scrapbook pages to share.
Gala Day
My first page is about the 100th anniversary of my towns' local parade to raise money for our local public hospital. I volunteered in last years parade and so had some colourful pictures to document this event and my memories of the parade as a child. I decided against using any patterned papers on this page and instead used Kaisermists and water colour paints to create a colourful background.
I used a mixture of Imaginarium upper and lower case chipboard letters and numbers on this page,
colouring them with Distress paints and Dina Wakley heavy body paints.
I also used the new release Rufus Flourish on this page and coloured it with Distress paint
adding white paint to the outer edges so the purple showed through creating an ombre effect to the chipboard.
Strike A Pose
My second page using the title piece 'Strike A Pose' features some friends and I dressed up in our 80's gear at a scrapping retreat. I used lots of circular chipboard on this page, including
Nat's Piecharts, a viewfinder, doily, cogs and heart Chipboard.
Again I used Dina Wakley paints to colour the chipboard.
Enhancing them with some white gel pen doodling.
Thanks for stopping by I hope you've been inspired by todays colourful
chipboard post.
Happy crafting,
Leonie Neal-Dawson
