It's a little bit of Christmas spirit ...

It's December .... and December means all things festive!

This month the girls are creating with a Christmas theme in mind.

First up is Carol

Made a set of 3 Christmas cards. Rubbed chalk inks on white cardstock.
Painted the chipboards with acrylic paints. Filled the empty spaces with diecuts, cut outs
and glitter glue dots. For the Christmas wreath card I stamped and colored the wreath with
color pencils then add the chipboard Kerri Flourishes and a bow.

And Sandi has created this gorgeous page

The background was created when I placed a range of Imaginarium Designs 'Stars' sizes down before spraying LSG 'Risso's Rowdy Red ' over the top. Removing them left the masking effect shadows and to add that magic sparkle of Christmas I applied 'Mega Flakes ' to the paper. The baubles were covered with Christmas papers and the tops embossed with 'Gold' Metallic Melts gold embossing powder which I also used on the 'Christmas' chippie. I used 'Pine cone' Versa ink to cover the frame and 'gold' Metallic Melts on the word 'Snap'. 'Cardinal' Versa ink and Metallic Melts 'Glistening snow' were used on the Berry branches.

Louise as you know is a huge fan of the a black and white theme when it comes to her creativity, and Christmas is no exception :). Louise has used black card blanks and some fabulous Christmas themed Imagninarium Designs chipboard spray painted white to create her simple cards.

Gorgeous work ladies!

  1. Carol's trio of cards are simply spectacular and Sandi's layout is so festive and cheery! Louise's black and white Christmas cards are perfection! I also love the black and white color combination and use it whenever I can! I think it looks elegant, classic and fits any card giving occasion! TFS!
