It's Romy here on the Imaginarium Designs blog today.
I would like to show you a card and a lay-out that I made using some lovely chipboard frames and other embellishments from Imaginarium Designs. I hope you will like them and that they will inspire you to have some fun using Imaginarium chippies yourself too :)
On this card, I wanted to use this pretty image of a boy and a girl that I cut out, but I actually wanted it to stand out a little more. So I decided to frame the image with two beautiful Imaginarium Designs chipboard frames. I used this large oval frame...
...as well as the rectangular shaped frame from this set. I cut off a few pieces from the small frame to make it fit in nicely within the larger frame.
I altered both frames with brown distress ink and also added some orange rhinestones to them as a finishing touch.
The beautiful ornaments that I used in the left upper and right lower corner of my card are also from Imaginarium Designs.
My second project is a serene beach-themed lay-out, which I titled "Now and forever" as a note to self to get some rest and peace every once in a while.
The title 'Now and forever' is a chipboard piece from Imaginarium Designs. I made it brown by slightly accentuating it with brown distress ink.
I also used a beautiful Imaginarium chipboard frame as a nice accent on my photo. I covered the frame with a coat of white embossing powder.
Last but not least, I further decorated my lay-out with a few small chipboard hexagons from Imaginarium. I think these hexagons make a great finishing touch on all kinds of projects!
I kept these hexagons quite neutral just like the title on my lay-out and only slightly inked them with brown distress ink.
I hope you enjoyed my blogpost.
Don't forget to leave me a comment below, because you will then be eligible for an amazing prize package of Imaginarium Designs chipboard. Who wouldn't love to win that? :)
