Sisters Are Friends Layout

Hello everyone!
Julianne here today, sharing a layout about my girls, and their sisterly bond.
Like most siblings, my two have a love-hate relationship. They can go from all loving and kind, to I hate my sister, and why did you have her, in a split second.
But I think they would be lost without each other - they just won't admit it.

"S IS FOR SISTER MY FOREVER FRIEND"
I took this photo at the Adelaide Festival Centre. We were waiting for Le Noir to commence. And in usual sisterly fashion, my eldest decided to peeve her sister off my sitting on top of her, and giving her a kiss. The youngest hates kisses from her sister.
Then all hell broke loose. Again. So I shamed them into good behaviour by taking their photo. :)

Can you see that beautiful swirl effect I have created on the chipboard phrase? It's rather easy to do. I started by sealing my chipboard with a base colour (yu can use an ink or mist), and then I sealed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam (or you can use Glimmer Glaze). Next, I used a Prima chalk ink to add another shade of green ink. Finally, I added Dimensional Magic, which created the swirling effect. The Prima ink cannot seep into the Glimmer Glam, so it sits on top. When you add the Dimensional Magic, the ink lifts off adn mixes through the Dimensional Magic, creating a gorgeous swirled effect. Easy, isn't it?

And adding the glittered "girl silhouette" chipboard to the title phrase gave a special touch, that perfectly represents the relationship between my girls.

    layout! Love the
    story of it as well
    as the inking
    technique.

  2. What an awesome page. The fence background and the brightly colored embellishments look wonderful together. I like how you have the colored photo sandwiched between the black and white photos.
