"Timely Fashion Shop"
Created a window display for miniature fashion shop. I painted the dressform chipboards with cream acrylic paint and added glitter. For the bigger dressform, I adhered lace as dress. To make these dressforms stand, I cut out the negative (as shown below) and adhered to the dressform legs.
Then I cut out the bottom part.
I added 2 mini bolts of fabric, some resin flowers and sequins into the "window display".
Used Loolabelle's Nested Hexagons as picture frames after painted them red. Love the 3 different sized hexagons.
For the shop name, I painted the tiny alphas white and put glitter on it. The black frame is painted black before add black glitter paint. I added the corner chipboards behind the black frame to extend it.
I started scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my first child. So naturally most of my layouts I do are about them. And here's my second project on my son when he's still a baby.
"Cute As A Cupcake"
I love these photos of my boy. He was so chubby then. And he seemed to enjoy putting his cute little fingers into his mouth. Yummy!! That's how the title came about: Cute As A Cupcake & Taste Like One Too!!
I got the inspiration for the background from Melissa Frances Sweet Life paper collection. But I wanted something more 3D. So I watercolored the white cardstock grey, added blots of acrylic paint and texture paste mixture before add some brown paint spatters and sequins.
For the chipboard title, "Cute As A Cupcake", I painted the bottom part brown and painted the top part with Shimmerz Paints Dazzelerz Tutti Frutti. Before the Shimmerz Paints Dazzelerz dries, I sprinkled some clay "toppings"on it to make it look more like frosting.
Here's the chipboards I used:
2 Mannequins and Hoop
Corner with Four Circles
Looplabelle's Nested Hexagons
Cute As A Cupcake
Isobel Lower Case Alpha
Isobel Upper Case Alpha
Hope you enjoy my projects and thanks for dropping by.
