Hi all!
Today I have three layouts to share with you and a tutorial too.
First up is 'The Tie Dye Shirt'.
I have used some brand new fabo chipboard designed by Natalie May.
Here's what I used:
IDALC0001 Lower Case Letters
IDALC0001A Lower Case Letters
IDDL0018 Loolabelle's Nested Arrows
Here's how I made this layout:
Step 1:
Use a stencil and some Golden Light Molding Paste to add some interest to a sheet of white cardstock. Once dry, glue on your chipboard pieces.
Step 2:
Use a make-up wedge to apply white gesso over the top of the chipboard as well as the stencilled background. Add a little more gesso using a palette knife to give even more dimension and texture.
Step 3:
Apply some colour to the chipboard pieces on the layout using Faber-Castell Gelatos. Blend a little with your fingers.
Step 4:
Spray on a little water using a mini mister and let the colours run.
Step 5:
Now it's time to add even more colour using Dylusion Spray Inks.
And that is how I created my background!
My next layout is called 'Rise & Shine'.
For this layout, I altered my chipboard pieces using gesso and Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
Here's what I used:
IDS0017 Clock Face without centre or hands
IDDD0004 Denise's Fern
Lastly, I created this layout titled 'Mischief and Mayhem'.
I coloured the triangles on this layout with Cobalt Ranger Archival Ink, the lettering with Seafoam Heidi Swapp Color Shine and left the arrows in their raw state.
Here's what I used:
IDDL0023 Loolabelle's Love Arrows
IDS0083 Triangles in a board
IDW0088 Awesome Mischief Handsome
IDALC0001 Lower Case Letters
IDALC0001A Lower Case Letters
Thanks so much for checking out my projects today.
Don't forget to leave a comment on my blog post to go into the draw to win a pack of chipboard!
Cheers
Belinda
