Creations from a Guest

Today I'm sharing a couple of creations by an Australian lady by the name of Sara McDowall.

Here is what Sara has to say about her creations ...

"For today's post I have created a Wedding Card I wanted the card to be a pretty and whimsical.

 

 

 

I have used the Imaginarium Designs.. Sending you Happiness and Pine Branch Chipboard pieces. I have coloured the chipboard with ink then used crackle paint and used Inka Gold on the raised bits.

On the background I have used vintage lace, tulle and a punched border. I wanted to create a lot of great texture but as you can see I ended up covering most of it.

My next project I have created a Christmas Card.

 

 

I have used a lot of layers on this one to give it dimension. I have used that lovely Imaginarium Designs chipboard Frame in the background, Pine Branch and Merry Christmas title... On the chipboard title I have used paint and Inka gold and on the frame I have used gold crackle. I have clustered my flowers and added a small bell for movement ... its very cute poking out of the leaves.

Lastly I have made a Tag for Halloween I just love how this turned out I only wish we celebrated here in Australia...

 

 

To start off I used a chipboard tag so it would handle all the mediums I am about to throw at it.. I started off with Crackle Texture Paste and a mask. It was then sprayed with multiple colours. I have taken a picture so you can see what the tag looked like before I layered my embellishments. I went around the edges with Inka gold and over all the raised bits on the tag.

 

 

 

I then started to cluster some diecuts and flowers. The chipboard I used from Imaginarium Designs is the clock which I painted with black paint and went over with Inka, On the Boo I used Distress Paints and also on the bordered edge which I cut in half for the front and back and the Pine Branch was coloured with ink.

On the edges of everything I just went over with Inka. 

On the web and spiders I went over with black coloured glass glitter and micro beads which gave it some texture. I am all about the texture. I don't like anything flat.
