Belinda here today to share with you a mini album I created for my darling daughter to take with her on camp. I love to create a sweet little album with some favourite photos in case she misses us while she is away. She can look at it at night before she snuggles up in her sleeping bag and say goodnight to us and her pets.
I used the awesome "Words - My Favourite Photos in photo frame"IDW0068 on the cover.
I sponged on some dark brown acrylic paint and then added gesso roughly over the top. Next I sprayed it with Suede Tattered Angels Glimmermist. The colour still wasn't quite right so I sponged a bit more white gesso over the top. I finished by inking the edge with a little Olive Ranger Archival Ink.
Take a peek at the pages inside.
I have used the "Alphas - Main Letter Set Lower Case" IDA0005. I painted the lettering with white gesso as the base and then sprayed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold.
I have decorated the album throughout with "Shapes - 6" x 6" Moroccan Shape with cutouts" IDS0066 and "Designer - Loolabelle's Single Chevrons" IDDL0019.
These pieces were all altered with gesso and Gold Color Shine as per the alphas.
I finished off the album with one sweet heart from "Designer - Lou's Heart Shapes" IDDL0015.
This was such a fun project to create and extra special because it was for my daughter. I even got to make another one because my son is going on camp at the same time!! But I will save that one for next time. ;-)
Thanks so much for checking out my project today!
Don't forget to leave a comment to go into the draw to win a pack of chipboard!
Cheers
