Black & White Layout & A Mixed Media Canvas

Hi Everyone,  Karen here with two projects to share with you today.  The 1st is a mixed media canvas I did and a black & white layout.

Here's the mixed media canvas I made using serveral Imaginarium Design pieces.

I used several of Tim Holtz's new stencils, so fun..I love them.  I used the stencils with some light moulding paste.  After that dried I used several Inka Gold Metalic Rubs on the stencils and all the chipboard and metal pieces.  I then used some Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink here and there for some aging.  Here's some close-ups for you.  The image I used is the work of my friend Teddi at Creative Souls.

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard Used:

Butterfly - Small (IDS001)

And my second project is a layout of my niece Zara and her little sweetie Mady.  To alter the chipboard I gessoed them and then used some Tim Holtz Embossing Powder (Tattered Rose).  After that dried I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Black Soot) here and there on the pieces.
