Mid Year Reflections

Hi, It's Sonia here for my July post. I can hardly believe I'm saying that already - we're halfway through the year! I know I'm not alone in thinking that time is flying. It's time like this that I love this wonderful craft that helps with memory keeping along and provides time for reflection.

My post this month doesn't follow a theme - it has a journal page, some fun tags and a bit of vintage thrown in for good measure! I love that you can use your chipboard for so many different purposes and it doesn't matter what your 'style' is - it can be easily altered to fit every style!

'Reflections' Journal Page

  Imaginarium Designs products used: Denise's George Flourish (IDD0033) and 'Reflections' word (IDW0099)

The 'Reflections' word title was heat embossed using white embossing powder:

The detail in Denise's George Flourish is just gorgeous! I have sprayed the chipboard with a dark blue Mist. The shimmer helps the chipboard stand out from the detailed background:

'Shadow Box Tags'

Imaginarium Designs products used: 'Kiss me like you Miss Me' Phrase (IDP0220), 21Stars in a board (IDS0076), 4 Small Butterflies (IDT0014), #instagram (IDW0094) and Explore, Adventure (IDW0100)

All of the chipboard was finished using heat embossing with an aged Gold embossing powder:

Using heat embossing it allows you to colour the chipboard and still allow all of the fabulously delicate detail to show:

These tags can be used for decoration or can be attached to gifts to add a fun element to your present:

All of the chipboard has been finished using an aged gold embossing powder for a fabulously vintage feel!

The butterflies are one of my favourite pieces of chipboard - the detail is just divine!
